Twenty N52 magnets hold a phone through a case without a single moving jaw, so mounting is a one-handed slap and going is instant. The alignment ring keeps the handset centred and the metal plate sits between phone and case where nobody sees it.

Will it work with a phone case on?
Yes — the magnet ring is strong enough to hold and charge through most cases up to 3mm thick, including silicone, leather, and clear cases. Very thick or metal-backed cases may interfere with alignment.
Does it work with both iPhone and Android?
The magnetic snap is built for MagSafe-compatible iPhones and Qi2-certified Android devices. For older Android phones, the included USB-C cable gives you full wired charging at 20W.
How long does the power bank itself take to fully charge?
From empty, Orbit reaches full charge in about 90 minutes using a 20W USB-C PD charger (not included). A quick 15-minute top-up gives you roughly one full phone charge in reserve.
Can I use my phone while it's attached and charging?
